I can't find anywhere that says they took the pictures and posted them online. All it seems they did was make something that people assumed was something else... People took pictures of it and posted them online. Speculation ran wild. Anyone that is upset about this must also believe things...
I'm 26:) I don't disagree with what you are saying (or what evolution is saying)... My point is not what we (as corvette lovers) think, it's what people in our age bracket think in general. I personally would rather buy a used 'Vette over any of these other cars (for many reasons). BUT, our...
If you go for it, try to get one from 89-93. they hold up better. I think they are the black label units (as apposed to the blue label from 94-96 when they eliminated the reverse lock-out), but can't remember for sure off the top of my head.
Why can't they fit the smaller vortec V8, Northstar 4.6, or the LS4 (5.3 that's in the new impala ss)?
Then we'd have a new V8 powered roadster that is fun to drive and cheaper to buy... it would be nice if it had the Corvette name on it then too.
I never had any complaints about the power in...
WOW, I didn't know I was that low :crazy
One of the bidders isn't listed at all anymore, and the price actually fell by a few hundred bucks... I wonder what happened
At first glance it didn't seem to bad, but I started looking more and adding it up in my head and WOW is it going to cost some $$ to get it going again... assuming it still runs. (seem a little odd to anyone else that a running car was just parked?)
I think I'm pretty conservative with my...
Those caps were used on many different GM vehicles, you may find them from another vendor, or even autozone or other discount auto store. Another idea is to go to AFS or another aftermarket wheel company as they may sell them one at a time.
One last idea is to just change out the lugs...
No... gotta get C4 rotors, OR you can upgrade to C5 brakes (rotors and calipers) but that will cost you some $$
I just put a set of drilled/slotted rotors on my lincoln town car from this guy (LGT corvette rotors)...
probably less than that... many of the white interiors went with white cars. (i.e triple white). it's tough to apply statistics to the production numbers because people have different tastes so things aren't evenly distributed
My guess is it is one of a handful. Could even be one of one with...
I know it's not a GS, just curious if anyone thought a regular admiral blue 'vette could have made it into the run. I know the all the numbers say that there were none built, but there always seems to be oddities in the production. The miles are so low, and the paintjob looks so good I thought...

The VIN looks to be 1996, and it doesn't look like a repaint (if it's been repainted it's a really good job based on the pics). Could it be a...
is there no way to fix this problem?
I just got a call from my Dad, said his '98 pace car's roof just did this exact thing. the killer is the rest of the top is in perfect condition, seems like a real waste to change the whole top when it seems fixable.
I had Kumho's (actually on HrtBeat's current Vette). I thought they were a good all-around street tire and great for the money.
Although, if you can get a tire for $77 I'd go with that... you can't beat that price with a baseball bat!
This isn't Corvette specific, but I'd like opinions.
I just bought a Lincoln Town Car. 1996 with 116k miles. The car seems to be well maintained. I'd like to switch it to synthetic oil. Synthetic is all I even keep around at the house, as I use it in everything.
My problem is, do you think...
they usually have track cars and festival cars for other big time people to drive around in during and before the race...
Seems that 50 or so "festival cars" usually get made. Most of the time they are fairly identical to the real pace car(s), minus the lights, etc. For example, in 1995 and...
