I also bought the center section and that fits fine too. But the side pieces don't even look like the original. The cut out for the vin is smaller, there is a black stripe on the edge near the windshield, and they are a bit longer than the originals. Dave do you think you could post a picture...

I have sent back one set of trim panels that didn't fit, and have just gotten a second set that doesn't fit, and before I try a third set, I thought I would ask if anyone here knows where I can get trim panels that would fit. -Chris

Hey guys, I am replacing the bushings to for mounting the rear end, but the new poly bushings don't look like they are going to fit with the those sleeves in. I did a quick search and came up with this thread...

If it's like my 81 I'm pretty sure you need to get at them from behind, you might be able to push in the sides of the bezel to get them out, and the new ones back in, but I would be a little too worried about cracking the bezel. Might be worth a shot, be gentle though :) . Hope this helps...

on my car the axle straps, and the drive shaft straps are the same size, we were gonna just paint and re-use the old ones, but figured while everything is out, might as well just replace them. If we can't find any localy then we probably will just use the old ones. Thanks for the help, -Chris
