re: I live on Mt. Desert Island, if you don't recognize that name, Bar Harbor might ring a bell =) I only know 4 c3 owners that live down here, but none that are any where close to my age (20). Where are you at? If you're ever in the area on a wendsday stop by Jordan's snack bar I'll probably...

So that's what leather should feel like!

re: Thanks for the suggestion, I was thinking of doing something like that, but was worried that the dye would get water stains or something if I wet them and put them in the sun. Maybe I'll try that this summer, since the sun doesn't come out much in the winter here in maine. Thanks for the...

So that's what leather should feel like!

Recently I undertook the task of recovering the seats in my 81. I purchased all new foam from corvette central, and new 100% leather seat covers from Willcox. The bottoms were fairly easy once we figured out that it's easiest if you remove some of the foam around the bar so that the person...

    Recovering Seats

I've got the plastic parts all dyed red, and the hinges, and seat rails primed and painted black, and as soon as christmas is over, I'll be able to start recovering the 4" seat foam that I have sitting in my room. I set the foam in place today and it didn't seem to fit... The back is a few...

You ever have one of those days..?

re: Thanks for the kind words fellas, I mostly just needed to vent I really shouldn't worry too much about the willcox thing, it's probably just my mom playing a mean joke on me, for some reason she enjoys making me get upset about things like this just so she can see my face when she tells me...

You ever have one of those days..?

For my christmas present I was getting new seat foam, and new leather seats. I misunderstood corvettecentrals site and even though they had listed a "set" of top cushions for 70, and a "set" of bottom cushions for 70, they really ment that you get one top, and one bottom, I should have known...

    Looking for some rims...

Last year when I was looking to buy a vette I looked at one that was in rough shape, but I loved the rims on it and I've been looking for them ever since. The guy said they were american Racing Rims, they look like these, except larger, and they are the five bolt design...
