The weight or viscosity of the oil is driven by two things, one driving conditions and engine clearances (main and rod), so be careful. Just my .02.........:beer :w

They are real deep throat and look great. I also added a Halltech intake filter (K&N) and my Traction Control comes on quite often now. I think it has made a noticable difference. They are a little pricey but worth it. Check them out........:beer :w

Don't weld.....Have it set up to clamp like the stock and after market exhaust systems. It is easier to rotate and align the system.

Is it safe to assume that you were low on oil when you added it each time? If not it could be a defective sensor. :w

My understanding is the Z51 option has 1" larger rotor but uses the same calipers on all C5's including Z06. They do this by changing the caliper bracket to position the caliper correctly. The only differance between a Z06 caliper and a non-Z06 is the red paint. I know this because I do powder...
