    RPO's and costs

Sorry if this may be redundant, but can anyone supply a link to the 2000 base prices and option (RPO's) prices. I didn't get a change to order my window sticker / build sheet yet, but was hopeful someone might have what I need. Thanks in advance!

Help! How do I bleed my 87's cooling system

Thanks! Thanks guys...I just knew there'd be no time savers for me! Just my luck! Oh well, what's another hour or two under the hood? At least everything else is working as advertised (loudly knocking on wood / head). Actually the dashpad actually fits better now. Let the cool weather begin!

Hi Gang! I'm just about finished up with the replacement of the heater core (:hb) and I'm almost ready to refill the system. Does my '87 have bleeder screws, how many, and where are they located? Thanks!!!

    Alternator problems?

Alternator problem update I checked the grounds and all appeared fine with a meter. I pulled it off this morning and took it back to the store. They put it on their tester and as soon as they hit the start button it went to "FAIL". They tried it 3 times, then gave me another one. I had them...

    Alternator problems?

It started out with a whiney alternator, then went to my voltage display showing voltage at 11.1 volts. I went to my local auto parts store and purchased a Delco-Remy remanufactured alternator and installed same. And yes, I followed all instructions for disassembly and reassembly. I started...

    High or low tone horn?

Hi Jeff, After calling or going to a number of places, which included yards, internet, Corvette specialty businesses, dealers, and local auto parts stores, I ended up at our area GM warehouse (I get 10% over cost thru our club). I was unable to find an exact replacement. What I ended up with...

Are C4 prices still falling or rising yet?

And don't forget, there are some of us that just like to own and drive Corvettes, regardless of the year or the value. I had to laugh when my 28 year old son bought a new "left-over" 2003 Cobra SVT in 2004 and just couldn't wait to "run one off" with me. All I heard for weeks was how it...

Are C4 prices still falling or rising yet?

I seem to recall the Lionel train craze a few years back...seems every person who owned a Lionel train thought theirs was worth big bucks. Some did and do command high prices but surprisingly, a lot were so massed produced, they just weren't up there. But try to tell someone that!

    High or low tone horn?

Can anyone tell me what side the high and low tone horns are mounted on? Since one of mine went out, there's nothing to compare the remaining tone to, so I don't know if what tone I do hear is high or low. :rotfl ;help

Quick Fix for a sagging front end?

Thanks for the insight, but one thing, what's the measurement now that you replaced the springs? I'm interested in the centerline, air dam to ground clearance. Thanks again!

Quick Fix for a sagging front end?

Any suggestions for a quick fix for a sagging front end on my '87 coupe? I did put two new KYB shocks on, but it's still low to the ground. Is there any alternatives (cheaper) to new springs? Thanks! Rick ;shrug

    '87 cassette radio problem

I'm sorry but I failed to include in my post that I did buy a cleaner tape at RS and it didn't help. The salesman at RS thought it might be a stretched / weak dive belt, or need some lube, as he thought the reversing mechanism was kicking in. Thoughts anyone? Thanks again! Rick
