Daniel, Check out your local vette club. Look up the Santa Clara Corvettes web site at sccorvettes.org I'm sure the membership there can turn you onto a local Corvette shop in your area. I know there is at least one on your neighborhood. You may even get a member or two to help you DIY :upthumbs

Fortunately dealer stickers/emblems not usually seen on California sold cars. We get enough ugly license plate frames with the dealer name on them though. :cool

Have you tried a fuel system cleaner such as Chevron Techron? C5s had a lot of problems with their gas gauges traced to the sulfer content (too much) in some gases. A tank or more of premium Chevron could also help. If not then maybe you DO NEED to replace your sender;help

C5s have a known defect in the seats. Look up threads regarding this "rocking seat" problem. Fix is supposed to be simple once seats have been removed from the car but that in itself complicates matters.;help
