It really depends on the offset of the wheel. In some cases your will need a spacer. Mine car has 18x9 in the rear, but with zero wheel offset. see attached photo. I would suggest you try the wheels on your car before you buy them.
It is not as crazy as you think. I am just about complete converting my 1977 into a convertible. I had mine converted at The Fiberglass Body in Hawthorne, CA. Scott Kenning and his team did the work for the cost about $7000.00 not including Paint. See Attched Photo.
It's a Corvette. Electrical problem. GROUNDs are the most likely problem. Rear lights. Check the ground at the rear corner of the frame driver's side. I hope this helps.

Yes, But they are suppose to add a year each year. This bill is to catch up for the last few years where they have not past the yearly roll over to the next year. I hope you have followed up this year and emailed the state senartors. It should help you next year when the Pre 82 bill comes up...

Oil Pressure and Rear Knock Sensor

I will start at the Connections and wiring for the oil pressure gage issue.
The knock sensor is the 3rd or 4th that has been replaced. The bullentin if this is a laten defect.
