Question: Left headlight slow to raise

Hi Mike, How do you check the relay? Other than replacing it. With the Actuator you can disconnect the hoses from either end. And reach under the car and grab the clevis rod and open or close the headlight. Plug the hole on the hose with the red strip or the actuator hole with in the front of...

Question: Left headlight slow to raise

These are my best guesses. 1. Headlight actuator seal left side 2. Leaky or loose hoses to the left side 3. Bad left side relay valve :pat

Help! instrument light and speedo access

You are right. Remove the plastic under the steering column and there are 2 mounting bolts under it. Remove them. If that is not enough clearance there are bolts on the firewall that can be loosened, to give you more clearance.:pat

    Question: Bad Rag Joint

There is a procedure. Do not touch that screw until you know what you are doing!!! You might Google Corvette steering box adjustment or wait until someone with Corvette steering box adjustment knowledge posts the procedure for you.

    Grand Sport Convertible top scarring

Cloth rubbing on cloth will scare or show ware. I have a 99 that did the same thing. I put towels down to eliminate the ware or slow it down where the top folds on to itself. Then a small line showed up. I looked for the source of the line and I found that there was a screw that was...

    New and need help

Have the AC ckecked and see what is needed. Then evaluate what you want to do. I would only go with vintage air if the car did not have air originally. I stuck with the original R2 because it get cooler than the R134a. R2 cost more to recharge, but it my mind if helps keep the cabin cooler...

Help! instrument light and speedo access

I agree. Sometimes when they are working on your Vette they pull one end of the fuse out. I hope it is that simple.

    New and need help

Billy, Welcome to the Corvette Forum. Fiberglass or urethane is a decision if you want it original or not. Urethane = Original. Fiberglass smooth like the rest of the car, no ripples. Mine are fiberglass. It is not who makes them that is important (any of the top Corvette suppliers). Its who...

Help! Trying to flush brake system:

It sounds to me that you have to bleed the master cylinder before you can continue with the rest of the system. Pressure bleeding is the way to go when bleeding a Corvette brake system.

I am not sure which hole, but one of the holes should have some wear marks where it was originally installed.
