    Engine Wash in C5

Yep George, only fresh water for the clean up, salt might dull my polished wheels. :L Reverse gives you more of that turbo effect as you proceed, but does have the draw back of a difficult exit from the wash bay, as this fellow found out. :rotfl

    Engine Wash in C5

All that by hand stuff seems like a lot of work, I like the Total Immersion method, although it does have a few disadvantages that need to be worked around. :D

    Lets see some interior mods

I was impressed by appearance and work that has gone into yours. Think I have seen a wider shot of the interior in another post and there is quite a lot more to it than shown. Mine is a little understated, appreciate the comment. :D Mr Lucky, sure do like the reflective door panel...

Long Sad Story With A Happy Ending

Great story well done. Saw the post when you were looking and found the car. Glad it all worked out. There is no feeling like getting the car you always wanted and getting it at such a good deal and with extras. :upthumbs Enjoy. You & the wife drive it all you can. :w

For Remo: Drove the Vette this weekend

When she said, " It's such a nice day, can't we go out & play", I just could not resist. Now you know how I hate to give in to temptation, let alone call you and tell you I did. :L It is such a nice morning here, - 8 degrees, clear, no wind, and dry roads, those twin vapor trails...

For Remo: Drove the Vette this weekend

I'm with you. Last week was a great up here to, so I went out to the garage to console myself. Took the cover off, said "well.... I shouldn't", put it back on and went out the door. Then just could not help myself, said "I'll just start it, it is such a nice day." :chuckle Well...

    Car will not start.

Tom Either way, new or recharged battery, save yourself a lot of grief and invest in a 2 amp battery tender, mine is a Sears for $30. Put it on the battery whenever it is going to sit for any length of time to keep it up and power to all the electric components. Oh, and if you replace...

    Braless?

I also use a GM Bra for road trips only. Works very well, on & off easy. I also purchased mine used from a member of another forum. Used it this fall for the trip to Tenn. and had no problems. A worth while investment.

Winter's....... This is the worst yet!

Ok, I'm ready. Can you help with a job?? :) Had the Vette out a couple of days ago, clear but cold. Looked real nice with those twin vapor trails, but had to take the insurance off today. Tomorrow will spend the day washing, waxing, wheels off & waxed, interior cleaned and conditioned...

    Winter Projects, Whats yours?

Now Tony; I'm still pulling that tanker around, looking for a hole to drop my hose in, every week just to keep the wolf from the door. Wouldn't have to do that if I were an exec. such as yourself. :D Seriously, bet the 70 will look good, hope you can get it out more. Don't be a stranger.

    C5'ers - Winter Soon

Oh Yes, we have rain in the winter and it comes in unique little droplets that bounce, and coat the road in a shinny glaze that makes everything real fun!! :D

    C5'ers - Winter Soon

Your not alone. Have started to clean out the spot in the garage for "the baby", cleaning the car cover, checking anti-freeze and all that. :ugh My depression depends more as the days shorten and the nights get colder. At least this year I get to put it off a little longer until I get back...
