Clean ALL grounds. Some of what you said pointed to electrical. Poor grounds on these corvettes cause strange problems.If that don't cure most of the problems have the alternator checked.Also it would be a good idea to get the service manual. I believe Helms is the publisher.

If your going to be working on the care more often you should order the factory service manual.

Does it get wet just standing or do you need to be moving for it to get wet. My 90 the windshield seal leaks at the bottom and in rain the water blows under the windshield. did you take the slave cyl lose and tilt it to bleed? the way they are mounted the bleed screw is usually at the lower end which traps air . would think you cam across this in your searches. just about the worst thing I have ever had to bleed .

Sounds like it may be low on Freon. I would hook up a set of gauges and check that first.Something you could try ,locate the low pressure switch and jumper the two wires to see if it runs, if it does either the switch is bad or Freon is low. don't run it to long,If Freon and oil is not...

You say the cooling fan was wired to ignition.. Generally the cooling fans run on relays, relays are wired with coil to 12 v. the relay ground is completed by the ECM to turn on the fans. I would really question how they wried the fans.And anything else.

GM tachs in Camero and Corvette around that time period are known to go bad. There are youtubes on how to repair them . If you can't repair it you need to remove the cluster and replace it or have it repaired. My 90 does the same thing , just haven't found the time to take care of it .

I have the OBD I cable on that site, works well I downloaded some software from the place they listed . The software also works well.

If the car hadn't been moved in a few weeks and the tires are a soft compound they could have flat spots which could make it shake badly. I don't like what you describe ,my 90 is one of the best braking cars I have ever had. I wonder it there is air in the system or the master cyl isn't in the best shape. I use heavy toe pressure to stop my 90. If you press on the pedal for a min or two does it slowly go down ?

Do not install a larger pipe from the cat back. I installed 3 in OD pipes on my 90 from the cat back and without real loud mufflers I have a terrible drone at highway speed . I attribute it to the large pipe. Almost like it creates an echo chamber.

now that DonB mentioned it , yes multiple fuses contribute. Check every fuse.
