Will an 87 el Camino 700r4 fit behind an L98 1985 corvette?

Hi, I need a new trans and I’ve found one somewhat cheap that the owner says it was rebuilt. Came out of and 87 el Camino. I’m wondering does it have the same bolt pattern for the bell housing and what do you guys think I’d have to do for it to fit?

I think the tail shaft housing will be diff because of the mounts in the corvette

if the shaft is a different length the shaft is the first thing that goes into the trans when assembling , so that means total dissasembley if they are the same as all other GM auto trams have been. Also want to check spline count .

Ok. I think I’ll just buy a used 700r4 that I know fits and hope for the best. Thanks for saving me a lot of time finding out it wouldn’t fit.
