I used it on my truck and my sons 97 camaro. My truck has a slow leak so it was empty this year. It charged it up and fixed the leak. I did it a few months ago and no pressure loss yet. Seems colder as well.
Its something you can tackle yourself for alot cheaper. Im actually in the garage right now changing all mine on my 93 coupe. Just buy a kit and set aside a day to change it. There are alot of good tips on this site with a quick search :beer
Now since i changed the sending unit it shows maybe 15lbs at idle once all warmed up. I changed the oil and filter today with the same results. When i open the oil fill cap on the valve cover i see plenty of flow. So i just figured the gauge is reading low. Both my other cars have oil pressure...
How hard would it be to install a fuel pressure and oil pressure gauge? i was thinking of getting one of those pods that go on the a piller. But not sure what all would be needed to install the actual gauges. I dont have much faith in the stock oil pressure gauge. :(
I searched and im still kinda confused. I have a 93 and want to do the bypass. Will the newer like 96 radiator and heater hose work and be a cleaner look? Thanks!
Great advice so far. Like normal around here ;)
