I really like the 85, the l98 has alot of power, but it is not a lt1. I am slowly replaceing anything that looks bad, hoses, wires, pumps, coil and I am looking at a big mouth for better cooling. all that slows me down is money and time....

that is funny, my rag top is faster than my coupe, but the 85 coupe is nine years older and the past owner took ok care of it (changed oil in engine and trans), not the "vette" care my 94 has had (if it is discolored change it).

White gets dirty so quick its not even funny, I vote for Electric Blue

I do all of the repair work I can on all of my vehicles, I have a mechanic I take it too but only for things I can't figure out. I buy or make the tools I need, yea I spend allot in tools and books but it makes repairs allot easier. I think it is better as I know my vehicles inside and out.

I found tinting the back glass helps allot at night. the tailgaters are still there but at least I am not blinded

sounds like it could be a dream car for your kid, just make sure you have her help you work on it. she could learn some really important skills. I say go for it... but then again its not my money or my garage space.

I got home tonight and looked at my brand new poilished stainless steel mufflers and low and behold a piece of plastic got melted to the drivers side muffler. How do I take off the plastic without hurting the finish????? thanks

yes a hard top is available, new they run about $1200 but you can find them on ebay. here is a pic of what it looks off of the car.

Hello all I was looking at my 85 and my 94, the air filter on the 94 is really big compared to the 94, will a stock air intake fit in the 85 with out much pain? Thanks in advance,,,,,,,

the convert c4 has really limited trunk space, a small bag and a car cover fills it. The coupe has alot more space, so for traveling the coupe really is allot better, for fun the rag top is the best, I think it looks better too, also you can get a "hard top" for the convert it takes about two...

I have done that in most of my rigs, cheap, easy and engine saveing.....
