That's a start plus checking them for leaks. The FX3 shocks have electrical connections at the top of each shock (front shock connections are obvious with the hood up - rears a little harder to see). I have seen FX3 cars for sale with standard shocks installed - i.e. no electrical connection...

Make sure the FX3 shocks are working well. They can be expensive to repair/replace.

I understand. I'm 70 and retired. My wife and I get out and walk or bike ride a few times each week just to keep everything moving. Seems to help. Like you, I used to do some routine maintenance on my cars but not anymore. I pay people to do that now. Best wishes with your decision.
