How much did you pay for your Corvette

We ordered our car from the dealer. It listed for $57,240. They gave me a $5000 discount making it $52,240. Then they added on for sales tax, doc. fee, tag and title transfer fee for a total of $54,074.

    Can someone post a pic....

Yes, you are correct. From above the car or looking at it from the side, you can see how the tips graduate to a smaller size. That portion inside the pipe is polished just like the outside. It looks great! C:w RVETTE

Mine are like the exhaust system listed as part C in the catalog you posted. They are cut at an angle.

    200'000 miles with a C5 ?

I assure you that is for real and the true mileage. In fact, that pic was taken in April when the owner came to see my friend on Easter Sunday. My friend told me not long ago that he has seen the car since then and it now has over 275,000 miles! But this guy uses the car in his business. I...

    200'000 miles with a C5 ?

NO WAY, JOSE! Sorry to disappoint everybody but that high mileage is on a black '98 coupe that belongs to a friend of a friend. Below is the odometer from my car: It would be really tough to average over 132,000 miles a year. I hope I'm not banished from the club! C:wRVETTE

    Oil

I would worry more about the monkeys who change the oil at the dealerships and the quick-lube joints tilting the car. If they change your oil on a lift, do you honestly think they are going to tilt it? Especially when you aren't allowed in the work area to watch them? Yeah, sure!;LOL

What is up with Corvette Clubs ?

THEY'RE NOT ALL LIKE THAT The first summer that we owned our 2004 convertible, we planned to take it with us on our vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. Knowing how it occasionally rains in the afternoons at this location, I e-mailed the contact member for the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club to ask for...

WHAT A LONG STRANGE TRIP IT'S BEEN!

Remo, if everybody on these sites were as complimentary and kind as you are, the world would be a better place. And you know how much I like your car and the beautiful photo you have. It is the best one on this site. Many thanks again to you for everything. dooscoop32

WHAT A LONG STRANGE TRIP IT'S BEEN!

Some of you guys may have noticed my signature I've been using this year celebrating 35 years of Corvette ownership. Well, 35 years ago today, May 1, 1971, I bought my first Corvette at age 18. It was a Nassau Blue on black leather 1966 327/350 HP, 4-speed coupe. I did buy it on my own. My late...

Drive That C5 To Work Friday

Hi Remo, I did drive mine to work Friday even before I read this post. Aren't you proud of me? I only worked four hours, though, from 6AM to 10AM. Drove in with the top up but on the way home it was TOP DOWN!! And the weather was beautiful in NC on Friday. CORVETTE OWNER SINCE 1971 AT AGE...

    Tirerack comes through again!

Would you mind divulging the total price delivered to your place? I have thought about ditching my run-flats and original, polished wheels in favor of a set of aftermarket chrome wheels and Kumhos. Once you install them, how about letting us know how they ride, drive and handle? Good luck to...
