Module is located in front of power steering pump. I took a look and found the culprit. I just had the water pump replaced and they failed to connect the TCS module correctly and the connector was loose. All is well now and my TCS and ABS lights are out.
Thanks for all the help. Should I...
Yes, the TCS is not active. When I pulled codes before it read No Communication when getting to module 28-TCS. I will pull the codes and reply here. The instrument cluster currently has the traction system light on and the ABS light on and the DIC says Service Vehicle Soon when it's started...
Ordered LS7 clutch today. I haven't seen any track time with this car in the three years I've owned it but I do a lot of spirited driving. I figure this was the best solution for me and left me some breathing room for a cam upgrade when the time comes.

I did pull the codes, that's how I know I have no communication with the TCM. ;) I will look at what other codes are currently thrown as well. Thanks for the reply.

Well, I checked with my dealer on what it will cost to replace the clutch in my C5. My car has ~119k miles on it and they have no record of the clutch being replaced so I guess it's about that time. Does anyone have any recommendations for clutch replacement? C5 Z06? C6 Z06? I currently have...
This clip is very old but I would say that you are taking this way too seriously. They are entitled to their opinion. That doesn't make the Corvette any less of a car because of what they said. And it is that, a car.
GM doesn't sell the elbow alone but with the whole hose assembly. Their price was $8 for the whole thing. One of the techs just cut a piece of vacuum hose to fit and put it on the car so all is well... for the moment anyway.

Thanks Junk, but that's my basic question. Can I buy this alone or is it sold as part of a larger assembly? Even with the tape on this I can still hear what sounds like a vacuum hiss when decelerating with my foot off the gas. Wonder where else I'm leaking.
Here is a shot of the offending piece. Please ignore my duct tape fix for the moment and also the dirt that has accumulated as well.
When driving I can hear what sounds like a vacuum leak when I let off the gas. Wish I was closer so that C4C5 could take a closer look at it himself. Perhaps...
Thanks for the response C4C5. I was thinking this job would be much more expensive that what you've generally quoted here by a factor of 2. The car has 119k miles on it so I'm sure it's time for a new one but I don't believe this is the original one so I almost expected it to last longer.
I recently had the water pump replaced in my C5 and the tech noticed a vacuum leak in the tube coming off the throttle body. He claims that the entire hose assembly that goes around the engine needs to be replaced when the hole is in the smal 2 inch long elbow that connects this line to the...
Seems it's almost time to get a new clutch installed but I wanted to ask some questions here before getting it changed. My clutch has recently started to "slip" but it only does it occassionally, like when first starting from a dead stop. There is a breif spot where it seems like it slips and...
I bet this applies more to people running cars with normal street tires than those with high end tires. At the end of the day I think the tires in a Civic or Miata are going to roll more than those on a typical Vette. It may also depend on the tire on the vette as well. The sidewall in a...
