Paint Codes
I believe the interior and exterior paint codes were the same. The interior was not buffed-rubbed to a high gloss. You should be be able to find the information that you need at this site:

Hi!
I believe that most exhaust systems are supplied by Allen's. I purchased mine directly from Allen's for the 63 with 2 1/2" exhaust and it was marked "OFF ROAD". John H. posted that no one is making the correct sounding off road system. The system I am using is very quite. If you are...
Hi! John
Sorry! to here that you will not be at Carlisle. I was looking forward to thanking you in person for the help and guidance on my restoration projects.
I know what you mean about working in the shop, now that the 63 SWC is 99% done I am having Corvette restoration withdrawal...
When I set up the trailing arms on my 63 I use the 1/16" first style shim with double holes on each side of the trailing arm. I then used the second design shim with the slot to fill the space during the alignment process. I then used plastic tie wraps through the end holes to secure the shims...
Hi! Collin
It sure sounds like everyone had a good time, sorry I missed it. Maybe you could schedule the date closer to Corvette at Carlisle weekend so that many of us that drive a distance could make it a mini vacation.
Just a thought!

Well I bid $17,500 for the 65 and told the seller that I would be willing to bid higher if I could get the car on a lift and remove all the windshield moldings to verify condition of the birdcage and the frame. I believe that rust is like mice, when you see one, you can bet there are more that...
Hi! Gary
I have been working the bugs out of the 63 SWC. I have only driven the car about 175 miles. I was having troubles with noise from the clutch area and vibration from the rear of the car. I solved the vibration problem by rotating the drive shaft 180*. Hopefully I solved the clutch...
Hi! Haven
The 65 coupe is not a car that I would plan on keeping. I have a price in mind that I am going to offer. I just thought it would be fun to get others opinions.

I looked at a 1965 Coupe today that will be sold to settle an estate. The lawyer has recommend that the car be sold through a closed bid sale. The person that bids the highest price will be the buyer.
I thought it might be fun to to have the forum members provide me with what they think would...
Hi! Bill
I would hollow grind the holes from the outside to about twice the size of the existing hole. I would then use resin and glass cloth to fill the hole. I start with the first cloth cut (I normally pull the cloth until I have the desired size) rather than cut with scissors to a little...
Hi! Jack
Here is a simple method that I used with the 63. I used the jack and chain method on the 65 and found this process to be quick easy and safe.
I used 1/2" threaded rod with commercial hanger type beam clamps. I work with both sides of the spring at the same time and doubled nutted...
Hi! Barry
Thanks! My wife and I have stayed in Hassisburg the past few years. What I would like to do is find a location North of Carlisle. I am not concerned with the 30+ minute drive, I just want to stay in a rural type setting (small town) and to the North of Carlisle.
Thanks for any...
