:_rock Congrats on the new toy! Hope to add one to my collection eventually! The scream of the LT-5 appears to be addictive. Still remember when they were new and I heard one on a portable dyno! :upthumbs
Hey Don't go telling me that! :eyerole How I'm I suppose to have this much fun if this thing is getting valuable! Besides that is about when I sold my C-2's and C-3's and I haven't decided to buy C-5 or C-6 yet!! ;LOL:beer
Lance: Sounds like congrats on in order! Wish you the best in the future and would like to thank you for your efforts to continue your dad's class operation.
All the best and enjoy your honeymoon! :upthumbs Ike
PS: planning on Carlisle 07 with or without the Callaway!!
I happened to read Mr Newtons response in that magazine tonight. He also states that the some Callaways came with the Dymags which were rather expensive and now can cost as much as $400 a piece!! on ebay. :ugh I sure wish I could buy some for that price. ;shrug O well I guess the experts...
:rotfl Sounds like Richard Newton has an opinion!! After this many years I well know what some of them are worth. :eyerole I guess I should call the junk hauler for 89#59 tomorrow. It has to be totally destroyed! 17 years old and only 11,527 miles. An to think I thought it could be saved. Best...
89 #2 has been for sale a few times since BJ 04. I think it's been detailed a bit since I saw it there. My new garage is coming along well so maybe soon :D I can bring 89 #59 home so can see how this color combo works without Greenwood body add ons! :bang :w
Congrats Mark! :_rock Glad to see someone is blazing the trail in this area! Would be very interested in details as I get ready to start on 89 #59 :bang Builder finished exterior of new garage today! :cool Thanks Ike
Well I guess I'm half-_ssed again! Didn't do it all myself. Started last week with a builder friend. A lot of work but goes much faster with an experienced professional on the job. Exterior is almost complete. We put most of siding on Friday! Yahoo! Not huge [limited by zoning rules] but should...
:upthumbs Thanks for the look back at the early days. All forms of racing were very different back then and I'm sure it was great to be part of that venue.
Most everyone here already has a Callaway or not quite ready. Car is pretty well known here so not many questions. Just a matter of finding someone ready for the boost experience. Wish you luck! :w Ike
Aurora40: Good to see your still tracking the Callaways! having watched Callaways since the news of first ones hit car mags and having looked at the project report on Sledgehammer one thing I don't think Callaway will ever do is "slap" some turbo's on a Corvette. Their attention to details is...
I know that 1989 Callaway production had no 6-speed white convertibles! The fact that there were no whites ones blew me away with how popular white Vette convertibles were at time! :w
