Thanks guys I was kinda looking at the TPIS big mouth set up. Pat do you have a regular tpi set up? Lone 73 the kit from TPIS is about 3K comes with all sensors harness computer and tpi set up. I was kinda thinking plug and play. what do you guys think? maybe Accel TPI set up with TPIS...

on my 80 there is a wide ele connector on the passanger side engine compart if that isn't connected real good then i have no power anywhere. I kinda use it when it's in storage, kinda looks like it's pluged in but not real good, no power.

I got that same radio from dr dons and it wasn't that much. the only thing I had to do was file down the adjustment knobs( left right front rear) because they wouldn't fit. anytime you see something from M.A. you can bet you'll find it cheeper somewhere else.

Q-jets vacuum operated? I thought you couldn't get the secondaries to kick in unless it was under a load? So you would have to drive it.

yep I thought it was just me. The hangers they provide are way to big, I had to cut to fit. pipes... yea just take a little at a time until it fits. What mufflers do you have? Hope it's not the ulta flows, will have to do some mods there too. leave evrything loose until your done adjusting...

I got the one on the left it's simple and only takes about 3 sec to put on or remove. if you look inside the shaft there is a philips screw to adjust it.

I would try to remove it and see whats wrong with it. You can find them sometimes on E-bay. I know that the corvette salvage yards sell them.

You might also want to look at the hot water valve? I know in my 87 the valve is in the engine comp right side two black metal tubes with a valve. Maybe yours is not turning the valve or it is disconnected? You might also want to ask the seller if he disconnected the heat. Your climate control...
