took my gas tank down today was hoping to find a build sheet but no luck, had to fix hole in hose on top of tank ,:ugh

i have to remove the gas tank the line coming out is leaking right by FRAME ON TO THE MUFFLER anything i need to no before i start it looks like theres a rubber hose there, that is lecking...there is still gas in it should keep it in ..:beer

after reading your posts am in no hurry to start on mine i just got new front and back covers for my 75 both trueflex

i seen a few bikes in some pictures with vettes i just picked up a 1972 combat commando 750 1 owner with paper to prove it from a guy at work ..not much on bikes prices its been setting in his garage not running for 10 or 15 years he said he parked it when he got a new bike, the motor turns...

if its your dream car and you plan to hold on to it for 20 years . do it... if not sell it .. you could find a vette with a good body and frame and work on speed over time just my thoughts
