Want To replace carb, what size should i replace it with?

Well, Just my .02 worth. I've been running Holley carbs for over 40 years on Fords & Chevys. Street cars, off-road 4X4s, Sand Draggers and so on. I've never had any major problems with them. I've done complete overhuals at the track in less than hour. So, it is just what you are use to. Don't...

Want To replace carb, what size should i replace it with?

I may be old school but, I really like my Holley carbs. They are very easy to tune, repair or rebiuld. For the corvette the spreadbore works great. The only problem I've found is getting small parts for some of the older models. Summit racing and Jegs now has most anything you would need. Gary...

It looks like someone added that light; I don't have one but wish I did. Most likely trying to light up the heater controls. That always been a problem on the 78s. Gary

    Help! Shock Absorbers:

I've used the KYB white in the past. I was looking for a smoother ride on my driver, so this time I put on the KYB G-2s. They are great, nice smooth ride and good handling. For the price I think they are great. Just my 2ct. worth. Gary SAVE the WAVE

It also helps to remove the seat. It just give alittle more room to twist yourself into the knot that it takes to those top nuts. If you have big hand; it will be harder. Good luck. Gary

    Help! Bad Vibrations

Check for a lot of gease around the caps. Then fell for any twist or movement up-down, side to side. There should not be any give at all. Good luck with the check, but I still think your vibration is tire balance. But,I've been wrong before. U-joints cost $20 - $30 each plus installation if...

    Help! Bad Vibrations

U-joints have needle bearing & greese to keep them lubicated. The gease can dry out, the needle bearing wear out. How long they last depends on many thing: if they are lubed reguarly, if so fitted; abuse is one of the biggest thing. Auto seem to be easier on them than manual trans. car. High HP...

    Help! Bad Vibrations

It's the drive shaft u-joints; which there are two. One front and one rear. There are 2 each on the half shafts for a total of 4 on the half shafts. Sound like yours is most likely a tire balance problem. Luckily that is easy to fix and doesn't cost much. Gary
