This is really a safety issue. I think you might do well to look at the NHTSA web site. The recall is also there and they are certainly aware of the problem. The dealers have no say about refusing to repair a documented safetyn issue! Good Luck

Why not? It's your car and you should feel free to personalize it. I've been considering getting one but have not found a good script that I really like. If someone would offer a badge with the same C6 font and was really legible without being too flashy, I might too.

I would check the bolts that attach the drive tunnel cover. This plate helps the cars chassis to be more rigid and joins the front and rear suspension to act in unison. If the plate was loose it could induce creaking and popping as the body moves and flexes. Hope this helps, Doug
