Hooker sidepipes with Spiral Turbo Baffles!

Those are Hookers. You will need to remove the rocker panels for install and notch them. You really only need to mount the rear tab. You should consider STS Baffles or wide open. The hooker mufflers SUCK. Here's a Pic of my 74 BB

Your front end is to high. Check to see if the springs are seated correctly (no chucks between the top A arm and the spring). If everything seems OK, then the springs you have in front are not right for your current set up. The weight of your missing AC compressor could have a lot to do...

I use a quick disconnect on the negative terminal... any time I shut off the car, I unscrew the disconnect so there is no power drain... it also is a theft deterant. The battery didn't drain on it's own... something in it went Kaput! It was 4 years old and a cheapo battery anyway.

Yeah so it seems like it's just air in the lines or in a caliper. It's just plain spongy.

Humpphh :cry I did replace the pads... twice (thinking it was the pads). I'll fire her up when I get home tonight for the master test you mention above. I can tell you it's spongy at the bottom with weight on the pedal. I can feel the pedal hit the stop.

Thanks! Pan is already off the car... just going to tap it out to the next size... nut is on good, so I'm not going to take it off... espcially since I don't have a welder and could never get it back on! :ohnoes

Anyone know the size bolt used in a Big Block oil pan? I need to tap out my old pan as Corvette Central can't seem to send me a pan that will fit on my car. Thanks! Dave

Round 2 = same result... 2nd new pan is also defective. I think I'll just retap the ole girl and put the original back on. It goes right up there! I'll be lucky if I get this thing on the road by July!
