pulled the guage cluster to rebuild...but pulled the steering column first...the column works fine, no dragging or noises...i don't know any history of what's been done to it, so thought it would be a good time to tear it apart and rebuild, clean and lube bearings, or whatever is needed, and...
mine in my 65 was doing the same thing...got the service literature off ebay for $20, did some troubleshooting and it works fine now...even so, don't expect it to be near today's technology...the service literature is nice to have for future reference even if you don't need it now...i'm willing...
i have the 10 page service literature that i used to repair my am/fm radio in my 65...it is the model 986281 and i've been told is virtually the same for all the 63-67 units..it includes the alignment instructions, pictures of where components are located, complete parts list and description...

i have a 3.08 non posi rear end so burning up the posi clutches shouldn't be a problem, or do i have to worry about my rear end?...if i'm doing the math right, it should only lower the car 1 5/8 inches...hope that isn't a problem for a short trip to get a flat repaired..thanks for the info
i need a spare tire for a 65...i've been told a 195/75/15 will fit the tub nicely, but are next to impossible to find....a buddy has some 185/60/15's....will this work?...if i'm doing the math right it would ride about 2 1/2" lower than a 195/75/15 would...if i ever have to use it, it wouldn't...

hi..just getting my spare tire tub back on and have a 15x5 1/2" rim for the spare...anyone know what size tire i should put on it?...i have some 15x7's with 205/75/15 tires on but they won't come close to fitting and being to put the cover on...thanks for any info
