i need a spare tire for a 65...i've been told a 195/75/15 will fit the tub nicely, but are next to impossible to find....a buddy has some 185/60/15's....will this work?...if i'm doing the math right it would ride about 2 1/2" lower than a 195/75/15 would...if i ever have to use it, it wouldn't be for any kind of long distance...will this be a problem?...thanks

With an original upper tub, you'll always have to use a smaller spare than your modern road tires; if you have a rear go flat, put one of the fronts there, and put the spare on the front - otherwise you'll fry your Posi clutches. The reproduction upper tub is slightly deeper and larger diameter than the original and will accept a 205/75-15 on a 6" rim.

i have a 3.08 non posi rear end so burning up the posi clutches shouldn't be a problem, or do i have to worry about my rear end?...if i'm doing the math right, it should only lower the car 1 5/8 inches...hope that isn't a problem for a short trip to get a flat repaired..thanks for the info
