    90 ZR-1 for 18K... Is this a good deal?

Because it's so low miles? If it has that, is it difficult/expensive to fix? Thanks, Doug

    90 ZR-1 for 18K... Is this a good deal?

I lost out on that one... ended up committing to a '90 Z for under 23K. Good news is, it only has 16K miles and was owned by a bonafide collector (featured in Vette Vue magazine). So I paid a little more, but it's even nicer than the first one I looked at. I'm just not sure if I'm worthy of...

    1969 Engine Code question

I decided not to go with this vehicle... trust me, I REALLY wanted a tripower convertible for 27K, but I'm not experienced enough or wealthy enough to rescue this one. I'll be regretting this for a while, but I'm sure my family thanks me. Needing food to eat and all.

    1969 Engine Code question

It was car # 2889, so it was in the first run (September of '68). Doug

    1969 Engine Code question

Good catch... the guy's had it for 20 years, so it almost doesn't make sense that it would be a scam. Any chance some '69's had '68 motors?

    90 ZR-1 for 18K... Is this a good deal?

Yes I have... there's a red 90 for sale. I spoke with the owner, who seems to have taken good care of it. He's autocrossed it though, which concerns me. I'd imagine racing would take its toll on the vehicle.

    90 ZR-1 for 18K... Is this a good deal?

Well, apparently it was a good deal, it was sold out from under me while I was arranging an inspection later that afternoon. Bummer:mad

    1969 Engine Code question

Yeah, no kidding... a '68 motor in a '69. Who woulda thunk it. Although I thought I read somewhere that because '69 was such a long running model year, the earlier models had '68 parts. I have no idea how I'd confirm such a thing, though, and I don't know if it applied to engines. It's a...

    1969 Engine Code question

KOPBET, Thanks a lot... your link answered my question. It's T0517IO T - Tonawanda 0517 May 17 build IO - 427/400 with the Turbo 400 tranny. So far, so good. Thanks again! Doug

    1969 Engine Code question

Sure, he actually sent me 3 shots... I'm going to guess that he doesn't make his living through photography.

    1969 Engine Code question

I checked both the technical specs page and did a keyword search, but didn't find an answer to this question, so here goes... I'm interested in a '69 427/400, but it's out of state so I have to (for now) rely on the seller reading #'s of the block to me. He read the following numbers to me...

    90 ZR-1 for 18K... Is this a good deal?

Black/black, which I like. Although ask me again when summer gets here! The car looks pretty good... definitely not "mint," but the running gear seemed pretty good. I'm going to have Gary from Corvette City in Denver check it out to make sure there are no surprises. The driver's bolster had...

    90 ZR-1 for 18K... Is this a good deal?

Thanks for the link... from what I've seen of the cars listed for sale on that site, it's a pretty competitive price. I guess because the car's relatively high mileage (73,XXX)... I'm not looking for a trailer car, though, I plan on putting my own miles on it.

    New member from Colorado Springs

Hello all, I'm looking to become a Corvette owner yet again. I've had a couple of C3 coupes in the past (a silver '81 and a black '75). I'd like to either get something older (68, 69) or newer (ZR-1). It seems like Colorado Springs has quite a few corvettes in the area, so I'm hoping I get...

    90 ZR-1 for 18K... Is this a good deal?

Sorry, I should start by introducing myself. I've owned a '75 L82 and an '81 in the past, but have been Corvette-less for about 10 years. I'm interested in getting back into the group. My intention was to buy an older C3, but recently saw an ad for a '90 ZR-1 that was listed at about...
