    1994 Garbled at WOT

I'm starting to get a little frustrated, and could use some advice as to what to check next.... 1994 LT1 M6. Coming off a fresh engine rebuild because I burned up some rocker bearings, everything was running smoothly. Just recently, though, I've noticed that at wide open throttle, the engine...

    Replace 6-speed clutch, what options?

1994 LT1 Manual 6-speed. 115k miles (15k are mine) I've done a search and read a few of the clutch problems that people have been posting. Mine is just about gone. The contact point is all the way at the top of the pedal, it's really hard to spin the rear tires, and now the gears are getting...

    94 HVAC buttons don't work - Sometimes?

This is kind of strange, I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Sometimes, and only sometimes, when I start it up, the "auto" and "off" buttons don't work. Most of the other buttons seem to be able to be pushed. Pushing harder? Nothing. Then, the next time I get in the car...

    Push Button Starter?

Has anyone modified their car to have a push button starter? Or maybe know of a kit to do so? Could it just be a matter of bypassing the VATS, removing the steering lock, and adding an electronic button to turn over the starter?

How do I reset the SES light?

A little while back, I had a service done to clean the plenum. They had to disconnect the air intake. Doing so tripped the SES light. They unfortunately only had a ODB II computer and could not reset for me. I've tried disconnecting the battery for a while, and someone said 50 starts, but...

    OE Wheels?

I've seen a bunch of these on e-bay for a while now. Does anyone have these? Are they good quality? Do they fit? http://tinyurl.com/jlxtz They are about half the price of a lot of reproduction wheels I have seen offered, and in my experience, you get what you pay for.

1994 Radio Wiring Diagram - Please Help!

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for a 1994? I am staring at a gaping hole, trying to put in an aftermarket system. I've searched and searched and haven't found what I need. I'm looking for the key-on wire. I've seen so many references to a yellow wire, and I don't have one! I've got...

    Autocross run videos

Hey, everyone. I have uploaded some autocross runs for fun. It was a 2 day event, 8 total runs, each with a different camera angle. http://www.kiphs.com/personal/guy/salina/salina.htm Enjoy!

    A/C recharge?

1994 6-speed LT1. My A/C hasn't blown cold since I bought the car 7 months ago. A mechanic glanced at the unit and told my to try recharging it. Bought the kit at Pep Boys with the Gauge attached. When I hooked it up, pressure was 0. Charged it up to the recommended 45 lbs. Now what...

    Rather be driving....

This past weekend I had an autorcross event about 90 miles away from my house. It was a 2 day event, and I chose to drive up and back each day instead of staying in a hotel. So I loaded up my gear (30 gallon tub and large cooler - people are still amazed at how much room is in the back of a...

    Polo Green with "other" rims?

Anyone out there have a Polo Green corvette with non-stock rims, or have the stock rims painted? I want to do something different with the rims, and I would like to get some ideas about color combinations, or styles that might look good. Thanks, Guy

    Finding part numbers...

I've noticed that GMPartsDirect.com doesn't have a search for description. How does one go about finding part numbers to see how much the parts cost? I don't have any good manuals or anything, and don't have money to fork out for them right now. Thanks, Guy

    Strange sound?

1994 LT1. There is a strange sound, almost like a quick...well...passing of the gas, that my car does right after it is started. I never noticed it before, until I was in my friends C4 and he pointed it out. But recently, I have noticed it every time. Does any one know what this is? It...

    Fans making noise?

1994 LT1 6speed. Since a recent leak in a radiator hose, one (or both) of my fans is making quit a spectacle of itself. I can tell it's the fans, because the noise continues for a few seconds after the car is turned off, and slows itself to a stop. I'm not really set up to raise my car to...

    Hesitation

1994 Six Speed LT1. Mods:Ram Air, Shorty headers, custom exhaust. I've just gotten the plugs and wires replaced. It runs so much better, but when I really get on it, there is a skip or hesitation at about the 4-5000 rpm mark. Would anyone recommend the next step in my tuning up stairway? I...

    Headlight Motor keeps trying

94 LT1 Coupe. When I turn off my headlights, the passenger side motor keeps trying to close the headlight, even if it's closed already. It clicks several times for about 10-15 seconds and then stops. Is there an adjustment or something that is not telling it that it's closed, or anything else...

    Front Spoiler

I seem to scrape the front spoiler in most driveways and entrance/exits. I try to aim the car at an angle, but that's not always an option. I have also tried almost every angle I can in my own driveway, and it is really hard to get it just right. I guess my question is, is the front spoiler a...

    Another Badge Question.

Ok, my recently acquired 1994 LT1 6speed has some modifications. (excuse my vocabulary, as I am an amateur when it comes to mods and pretty much car parts in general) It's got an air rammer intake, shorty exhaust headers, and custom mufflers (and maybe even the cat is gone? Can't tell, yet)...

    Cloudy Guage Window

Hey, I just joined the Corvette world when I got a Polo Green 1994 LT1 for Christmas! I love this forum, everyone. Lots of great information and tips. I hope to be an "answerer" one day instead of a "questioner". The window to the gauges on the dashboard has some kind of cloudy coverage on...
