There is a small wire that plugs into the traction control unit below the alternator on the radiator side. You can access that connection from the passenger side. MIKE74 Can you give us the kit number and where you got it. I think you're misreading the directions. DON'T take the stock sensor or disconnect it. It is tied to the ECM (computer) and effects more than just the fan. I believe the kit you have is a supplemental sensor that ONLY turns the fan...

Don't the instructions state to install the sensor in place of a block plug between cylinders 1 and 3 and to NOT touch the factory sensor? Chuck M

But even that has nothing to do with a big block. They all roast you out of the car. Maybe the Big Block has a slight edge, but I've owned a bunch of the C3's and they ALL have that. Chuck M
