silverv96, Just replaced the GSC's on my '92 at 18,000mi. with GY F1 GS-D3's. It's a different car!! Much quieter, the ride difference is awesome, and dry traction is like a slot car! You won't be disappointed.

Opti-Crap I'd bet it's your Opti-Spark. Had an identical scenario last Summer on my '92 with 16,000 miles last Summer. This is my 5th Vette, but I had been Vetteless for 20 years before I bought this one in '02, and wasn't surfing CAC, CF, etc. on the net at the time. (costly mistake)...
