I did the oil pressure sensor change this afternoon - evening. Things went according to plan, only problem was getting the coolant hose off the throttle body. The one from the heads to the body was tough. I took the whole intake off. Tried to just slide it ahead but everything is loose by then...
Ahhh. On the way into town this evening I watched the oil pressure gauge move to 80 psi. The DIC showed 129. WhenI got home shut engine off, let it set for 5-10 minutes, just turned key on without starting engine gauge and DIC shown 70 psi. Looks like my vette caught the bad oil sensor...
I am trying to find a nice clear picture of a c5 coupe for the wallpaper on my desktop. I didn't think it would be tough to do but I'm not having much luck. 1998 silver coupe would be great. thanks
Last week when changing oil on my vette, I noticed the RH front shock was oily. therefore time for new shocks. I am looking for advice on replacements. I have standard suspension, no electric shocks. I see Lingenfelter as Bilstein HD and Sport available. and edelbrock also. Thanks Jay
I have a 1998 lately the outside air temp on the display is usually around 5-10 degrees cooler than the actual outside air temp. Has anybody else had this condition? Is there an easy fix? thanks for your help.
