I don't recommend the use of any wheel cleaner on clear coated wheels. It is very easy, and common, for them to cause damage on the wheels. The damage can range from spotting/cloudiness up to peeling the clear coat off.
I have tried several different brands of "clearcoat safe" wheel cleaners...
I haven't found a detector yet that I can't beat, radar or laser. yeah, they may save you a ticket here and there, but MOST (not all) people who have them, use them solely so they can speed. Since they speed most of the time, the luck runs out eventually and they get popped with a ticket...
OK, I'll keep that in mind. I knew selling in winter wouldn't be terribly easy. Heck, a local dealer offered me $7k for trade in on an 04 Z06.
I know what the car is worth, and won't settle just to move it quickly. If nobody from CAC is interested here in a month or so, I am going to list...
Thanks King, I'm being patient, it will sell eventually. The price is still $13k firm and isn't going any lower. Even at that price, it's a bargain. Most 91's I have seen in this area at dealers with much higher mileage are priced higher.
If I have one more gawker email me and offer me "$7k...
Yes, here's a before and after for comparison. I really like the ZR1 style wheels. I have had AFS wheels in the past and was very happy with them, I would definately buy again.
I went from the stock 91 sawblades to ZR1 wheels and like the new wheels WAAAY better.
I got them from Ebay also. There are many places that offer black ZR1's. Heck, I got silver ones delivered for under $300.
