It's been a while since Ive visited. I'm looking at a set of these (really cheap $). Does anyone have any experience with this brand of headers and Cat Backs? Fit and Sound specifically.. My nearly stock O2 needs a change after 5 years and 75K miles.;LOL
appreciate any input you guys can...
Serious 2002 Z issues
I've had mine for almost a year and a half now. I daily drive it and have 45K on the clock.
All I can say is don't buy one if you can't stand the Permanent GRIN that tends to create wrinkles on your face!!!
Good Luck..
Chuck
You should also check the actual casing of the motor, in my case (which happened just as described), the crimping of the motor case to the rest of the actuator had failed. You can just wiggle the case and see if it's loose.

Ah, another Jacksonville member !
Pseudomind,
I got my Z at Nimnicht over on Cassat, with several problems just after purchasing the car, I have to say that they took excellent care of me.
Their corvette tech, (Scott, I think) was overly freindly and spent over an hour with me just walking...
Thanks Patrick, and all of you!
I added some techron this morning, and tonight after about another 300 miles, everything seems normal. Can too much techron cause any damage??, I've used it several times, about every 5,000 miles.. should I use it more frequently as a "preventative maintenance"...

Good Info trebor,
From what I've seen here, I think I'll go your way rather than let the dealer mess with it.... They also refused warranty for me.

Like DRTH & JROSE,
My wife has driven it twice, breifly, she kept shifting gears through the residential neiborhood and at 45mph, admitted it was a bit much for her liking..um, worked out fine for me!
Thanks All,
The Z wasn't supposed to be a daily driver, but the trusty Explorer now seems to drive and handle like crap!:ugh
Weather permitting, it looks like the Z will get plenty of use here in FL. :cool Tires will have to be planned for just like Hurricane seasons!:beer

As a new, and first time vette owner, I'm curious what kind of life to expect from the Eagle F1's on my Z. I know that those burnouts and aggressive cornering have a tremendous effect, but say, once I start acting my age (or have collected enough Party invitations to the courthouse)...:D

Hello Guys/ Gals
I'm the proud new owner of an 02 Z06. Car has 30K and I noticed that the window trim over the driver door is cracked, when I discussed with the local Chevy tech, he said he had seen it before. Has anyone else seen this? the fit seems to be a bit poor. Just curious if I may be...
