Serious 2002 Z issues I've had mine for almost a year and a half now. I daily drive it and have 45K on the clock. All I can say is don't buy one if you can't stand the Permanent GRIN that tends to create wrinkles on your face!!! Good Luck.. Chuck

You should also check the actual casing of the motor, in my case (which happened just as described), the crimping of the motor case to the rest of the actuator had failed. You can just wiggle the case and see if it's loose. Chuck.

Ah, another Jacksonville member ! Pseudomind, I got my Z at Nimnicht over on Cassat, with several problems just after purchasing the car, I have to say that they took excellent care of me. Their corvette tech, (Scott, I think) was overly freindly and spent over an hour with me just walking...

Thanks Patrick, and all of you! I added some techron this morning, and tonight after about another 300 miles, everything seems normal. Can too much techron cause any damage??, I've used it several times, about every 5,000 miles.. should I use it more frequently as a "preventative maintenance"...
