Good guy!
Ken was one of the very first to welcome me when I signed on this board back when. As has been said several times, he was a fountain of knowledge on just about everything Corvette. And I really enjoyed the chat room activity when Ken was on board. The man had no fear. None. I...
You ain't seen anything yet ....
Tadge Juechter, chief engineer and vehicle line director for Corvette, says there’s more speed in the car. “The question isn’t how close we can get to the ZR1,” he says. “It’s how far we can surpass it.”
The final version will be faster. Much faster.
Rob, would like to suggest that you have some kind of warning on your posted videos that contain cursing or other child-inappropriate language. I usually have a grandkid in and out of my office, so when I opened up the video of the dude running his vette into the SR8, I was glad the kids...
You're a better man than me. Here in San Antonio, when it's 100+ and 60-70% humidity ... riding with the windows down is like being in a blast furnace. Too much stop and go for there to be a whole lot of natural cooling time.
It Ain't GM
Folks,
As one who has negotiated with labor unions in the past (not the UAW), and have personally seen the backroom deals made between the union and their closest political allies, I can tell you that GM's not the running this game/calling the shots--the Union and the Senate Dems...
My emergency/parking braking light remains illuminated despite the brake not being engaged. Have pulled the brake on and off several cycles, but the light remains lit. Suggestions?
Well my passive keyless lamp lit up last Friday on my 95, and the FOB no longer works. I changed batteries ... tried to reprogam ... nada, zilch, nyet. So, I'm surmizing that my transmitter's dead (it's the original) and I prefer not paying dealer price for one of these babies. Any...
Dead II
My 95's battery will drain down to a no-start condition in about 4 weeks time. I've checked my battery for draw and found it to be miniscule; but as has been stated, if there's any draw the battery will eventually go dead. I solved the issue by leaving a key with my next door neighbor...
Painting's done!
Well, painting/repairs are done. Beautiful job!! Paint was PPG and two coats of clear coat (forget the brand, but it was equally top drawer) .... Only complaint, the dude had my windows partially down when doing the job ... interior was covered with white chalk dust!!! Not...
Volks .... see you're an auto painter. I've got a friend who's doing body work on my car (pickup backed into mine and its bumper took out some of the fiberglass on the hood) and he's offered to paint the whole vehicle (plus do the repairs) for $1500 ... I thought that was a steal ... what say ye?
Hey folks,
Been a while since I've posted ... been transitioning into new job and working myself to death. Got to paint my 95 due to clearcoat peeling/delaminating and am considering change in color. I have red/black interior and have been tinkering with going with pewter silver. Anyone...
Everyday ....
Bought mine to drive ... not to look at or to "save it" until the day someone else thought it was worth a lot of money. (Though I wouldn't mind being on the receiving end on some of the $$$ folks are receiving for having left their brand new vehicle sitting in hibernation for 20...
