2001 and the headlights are erratic. Turn on and driver's side comes up. Turn off and driver's side goes down and up 5 times stopping in down position or close to down position. I manually raise passenger's side and it will operate normally until next day when it doesn' raise. Can someone help me?

I have a 2001 6 speed. Occasionally, when car is stopped and just after I turn off the ignition I immediately hear a very low sound, fairly loud, coming from the engine area. This doesn't sound like dieseling and the sound doesn't repeat. Does anyone an idea what this might be?

Cool water dripped on my wife's left foot in the passenger floor area while running the AC. I checked the drain tube eariler this year and it appeared clear. Any suggestions?
