Corvettes have been associated with America's space program ever since Alan Shepard's first manned space flight in 1961. :pat
However, the only astronauts to have identical, specially painted Corvettes were Pete Conrad, Alan Bean and Dick Gordon of Apollo XII.
My latest article is about Alan...
Round 2 - An answering salvo from Lance and Richard Carr. Rather than risk misinterpreting what was said by whom, I'll post the link and you can read and interpret for yourself. This is the LINK.
Let the lawyers commence!
This story is getting more bizarre by the minute. According to this link, a Florida man (not the one that Lance bought the car from) is now claiming ownership of the #1 Cunningham Corvette and has a copy of a Florida title in his now deceased father's name. He claims that the car was stolen from...
According to AutoWeek the Cunningham Corvette #1 has been pulled from Corvettes at Carlisle. See LINK.
Why all the secrecy? This whole episode is generating bad vibes all around.
My latest article about the trials and tribulations faced by Corvette Racing at Le Mans this year may be viewed here. Incredible efforts by the crews of both cars, but sometimes the racing gods just don’t smile on you.
Enjoy!
The General was contemplating a 4-seat SWC for 1963 and went so far as to build a prototype. If you're interested, please see my article about this concept car and other family sized Corvettes here.

First 2013 427 Covertible sells at Barrett Jackson
It definitely was a good piece of change. It was even better for the AARP since shortly after the car was hammered sold for $600,000, one of the underbidders donated another $100,000 to the charity! In total the car raised $700,000 for the...
Hi All. I've written a new article about the C7 in which I tried to separate facts from the rampant rumors.

Corvette powered Gordon-Keeble: The best classic car you've never heard of
Hi Shooter. The second photo is an Iso Grifo that was also powered by Corvette and is one of my favorite designs - just a great looking car. I covered that in an article here.

Hi all. By now most of you know that Corvette Racing snagged first place in the GTE-Pro class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. What some may not know is that the French team Larbre Competition also took the win in the GTE-Am class. A double win for Corvette in the world’s toughest race! :happyanim...
Hi all. My latest article about a showstopping 1995 coupe owned and maintained by the proverbial "little old lady" can be viewed here.
