I traded up from my '85 L98 to my '93 LT1. The LT1 is the way to go if you're shooting for 350hp. If you're going to mod your car, make sure you get someone who knows what they're doing and be able to VERIFY it. Nothing sours the Vette experience more than having someone screw up your car. Good...

Great looking engine photos! I'm still leery about gettting ANY water near my Opti. I usually wipe my engine down with a damp rag and use wooden q-tips to reach the hard places.

The fan in my '85 would turn on at 224 degrees. While moving, the temp rarely rose above 195. The fans don't turn on in my '93 until it hits 234 (unless you hit the AC). Enjoy your car! :D
