    like I posted before there is a "O" ring under that soft plug that is the seal. I have used fuel proof model pane dope for years with no come backs. gently tap around the edges to peen the area ,clean and use clear fuel proof model air plane dope for a fix the NCRS will never see.

    clean the area good and seal it with clear fuel proof model airplane dope. there is a O ring under that plug that goes away after years.

    the new corvette engine uses a oil filter with the filter bypass valve built into the filter so there would some metal like a spring involved.

    after you have it repaired make sure you have 3M protective film installed on the mirrors. no matter what you hear here zaino will not prevent rock damage. :D

    there is a check valve in the fuel filter and if you use a filter without one the float bowl will drain down
