Got it. I think your driving around in a spec stage 3, how does that feel?
the DTE, is a good idea from what I have heard. The half shafts, need more info on that mod. Another one I hear is the hardened torque tube, my question is do need all this reinforcement for a daily driver? This car...
Yes, 6 speed. The car has 60k miles on it. Tony Mamo is porting a LS6 oil pump for me as well. He recomended .080 chromemoly pushrods, but said to stay with the his upgraded springs, and stock rockers. I am not sure if I should change out the clutch and flywheel at the same time, but 60k...
Todd, thanks for the reply! Ok, so:
Chromely pushrods
Comp 918's
SVO 30#
Done. Now, should I go with a single or dual timing chain, and what's the difference? Ported oil pump? Do I need the porting? what does ot do?
Finally, should i change the flywheel, or stock?

Todd, not trying to hijack your thread, but I have a few questions, since I noticed you have modded your car. I am planing to go AFR205, with a 224/228 cam from Tony Mamo at AFR. He will be also porting a fast90/90 combo for me to match the heads. I will be upgrading the radiator to a dewitts...
Paul, just ordered a brand new oil pressure sending unit, took off the intake manifold, changed it for a new one and Great! Oil pressure guage running llike normal. Shut her down and three hours later.........pegged at 80psi again! Ok, time to drive home. Next day, psi gauge all over the place...
Todd, have a question. I have to take out my intake manifold to change out the oil pressure sending unit. While Iam already there, I was thinking Fast LSX and LS2 TB. My current setup: Dynatech LT's, Vararam B2, Corsa Indies, and tuning. Would I benefit at all from this? Or do I wait for head...
Paul, can I ask you something? If the sending unit is bad, and if we drive it like that for awhile, can it leak? I have the same symptoms posted, and an oil leak from what I believe to be the sending unit.

C4C5, guess what? It appears that the dealer replaced the actuator, when i replaced the coolant tank, July 13 of this year. The receipt says blend door clicking, replaced with 89018365 actuator. Could this still be the problem??

Yes, two codes:
B0441 h/c (this one continues to come back after clearing the dic)
B0361h
When i clear the dic i can hear the ACTUATOR moving. There is a writeup on the other forum about indexing two teeth, or needing a 2001+ actuator assembly. I could use the part#. I am going to try to get...
C4C5 , same problem
Paul, I had to disconnect the battery to fix the headlight motor gear, ac was working fine. Same problem again, driver side ac hot and passenger cold. Pulled 27, no luck. what am i doing wrong?

Pedro! Thanks my bro for the reply. I think they will add some bling without the big bucks. You gave me the answer I was looking for! Now, you say they screw off, but if I am not mistaken, valve stems generally come with the rubber grommet attached to prevent leaking. Where can I get chrome...
Hello fellow C5'ers! Got a question for anyone who knows. Just bought Zo6 chromies for my 99 coupe and have the tire monitor system. Going with Zo6 sizes for tires and want to keep my tire pressure sensors activated. The valve stems are painted silver and would look funny with the chrome wheels...
Hey Paul, thanks for the reply. I was coming home from work, so I was driving about fifteen minutes, in a straight line. This has happened three times so far.
As far as the TCS codes, no codes. A small note, I hear what appears to sound like a rubbing noise when I turn unto a right bank, at...
