Based on the subject, I just had to read to find out what a 'MAT' sensor was. Thanks Hib for setting it straight. I've never heard of anyone referring to it as a MAT sensor.

Flywheel Pressure Plate Clutch Disc Throwout Bearing From what I understand the flywheel seems to be hard to come by over the past few years. That may be what they are waiting on. I had no problem getting one a couple of years ago, though. (for my '95 Z28)

IIRC, the C4 convertibles had an 'X' brace bolted to the chassis. I believe you might look into some type of retrofit.

Actually, the LT1 does have a coil and it should be bolted the front of the driver side head.

Accessories rob a lot of power. Look at the different ratings back when they switched to SAE. I think the test would have been better if, say, they tested different stock exhaust manifolds on the LS3: truck vs. camaro vs vette make it at least interesting.

A clogged cat will glow red, along with your manifolds/headers. Check that. Have you checked your fuel pressure? Triple check that the wires are on the correct terminal. What is a coll?

Did they dyno it before the manifold change? I would hope so, for baseline reference. If so, what was the baseline?
