Does anyone know what the "GM Educator Discount is worth? Even a 20145 number would help. Less than the Credit Union / Supplier discounts?

The driver's side latch on the hood of my '89 won't release. The cable either came loose or (more likely) is broken. Has anyone else faced this problem before? Is there any way to reach the latch from under the car?

I just received the "build sheet" from the Corvette Museum for the '89 C4 corvette I recently bought. It lists two RPO codes for the "Axles" on my car: One code says G44 3.07 AX, The other code says G92 PERF RATIO AX. What is the difference between these axle codes? I thought the 3.07 Axle3 WAS...
