Ok, where is the gold sensor that you sent a picture of located at on the engine? Is it easy to get too. Is it located near the distributor like the two pronged black one.
I started fiddling around with a single prong connection on the lower right side of the engine towards the firewall. It had a black wire connected to it. Is this the right one. If so, how do I get in there and take the thing out.
I assume that I replaced the right part. The oil pressure sending unit is next to the distributor. It has two prongs sticking out of the top of it. How can I test the wire that goes into the oil pressure sending unit to see if it has a break in it.
I replaced the oil pressure sending unit twice on my 88 Chevy Corvette. Now, the oil pressure stays at 80 psi on the digital gauge. I am wondering if it could be something in the wiring or is there anywhere else I can check
