when timeing light is on timing mark and engine is at an idle ,what should it be reading?0-+1,2,3 etc...383 stroker tpi all ported,heads intake plenum runners

maybe after spending $16,000 I thought it would be faster..:confused

every 373 gear I view to buy shows with manual trans.is that not a good gear with auto trans?
