The int lights do not work with the doors open I can push the button on the doors to make the lights come on an they work but if I do it by opening the door no an if I do it with just the headlight switch it doesent come on
yea I gess that guy really got one over on me its a nice car but this problem is insane I checked the pink an black wire goin to the ac panel it doesent have anything on it its on the c side of the plug number 2 wire
I'll trace the wire n see an I bought the car drove it for a few days an it was great no problems then the heat an ac panel stoped workin we drove the car that day an some how we made it back home thank god but as it was sitting in the drive way running I saw the raido stop working an wasent...
We tried all that and still nothing. We have no volts meter to read the voltage but on the wires I moved the lights around with ones I know come on and still nothing but I put power to the wire from the plus it lights up the light.
So the brown wire goes from the alternator to the regulator and thats what makes the bulbs in the cluster light up? If so alternator is new and checked out fine, where is the regulator? (sorry wiring in not my forte)
I know I have one small red, one small blue and one small brown wire.
checkin the plug on the alt the brown wire has nothin on it but if u put power to it will light up the test light just verry dim idk why it would do that if it should be power
its a 87 it has the battery icon in the teltel I no if I put power to the brown wire it will make the battery light come on an ill check the wires ur talking about thanks again this is way over my head
