Hi all- I'm new (again) to the Corvette world, after owning a C4 in the late '80s. The wife said "yes," :happyanim: so l'm looking to purchase a C5 this winter, and digging up everything that l can learn about them now. Looking forward to all kinds of fun in here.

I haven't had a 'Vette since my '86, but it's time again. I love the look and size of the C5s, and am pretty well set on a coupe with AT so the old lady can drive it too. Given a nominal $20k budget, what's the BEST Corvette to fit my criteria, and why?
