Question: 63 SWC: Advice on Suspension Changes

Bilstien used to offer "Heavy Duty" and "Sports" for c2-3 Corvette application - "Sports" being the stiffer . I see now that there is nothing in their on-line catalogs for c2/3 anymore. Vette brake still shows "Sports" available. I at one time considered replacing my sports for regular driving...

Question: 63 SWC: Advice on Suspension Changes

Hib, what rear shocks are you using on your car? Apparently there are some specially valved Bilstiens available but you have to hunt them down. Both cars that I have experience with received rear spring "kits" with shocks - Bilstiens. They bounced so bad that I could not believe that the...

Question: 63 SWC: Advice on Suspension Changes

I'm not sure if you have ridden in a Composite rear spring equipped car. I have ridden in a couple. Both owners expressed to me frustration at the bounciness of of the ride which I also noticed was very prevalent. NOT GOOD. The shocks that come/came with the system don't solve it. I know that...

Question: 63 SWC: Advice on Exhaust Changes

I'm seeing that you have no replies to your good questions in these older posts. I don't have any suggestions on suppliers for your exhaust but if you are interested I completely LOVE the noises coming out of "N11" option equipped cars...

    Shock Reccomendations C2

I know that Guldstrand enthusiasticly recommends Bilstiens. I have the "Sports" on mine, I think they may be a bit stiff for my uses. I would try the "Heavy Duties"

BYE BYE OLD FRAME! SOME PICS.

Nice pics Mark ! I am planning on lifting my body off the frame this off season as well. I see you have lifted it just at the 4 points shown. Does one not need to support the front ? Would having a mounted and closed hood help to prevent sag and possible cracking? Merry Christmas all. Frank.

    THE SIXTY4's NEW FRAME PICS.....

Nice pics Mark ! I am planning on lifting my body off the frame this off season as well. I see you have lifted it just at the 4 points shown. Does one not need to support the front body ahead of the cowl? Will leaving the hood on and closed help prevent it sagging and breaking? Merry Christmas...

    HEI in '68

Thanks all, I figured it would fit past the wiper motor/washer pump, Some told him it wouldn't so I thought I'd ask before I wasted my time. I have one to install.

    HEI in '68

Can anyone tell me if a large cap HEI [no tach drive] will fit in a '68? It looks like it will get pretty close to the washer pump. Thanks, Frank.

John - Thanks much for conversation and tour of your garage today...

Here's a solution a friend of mine chose. A Camaro sized 'Relief' in his ceiling.
