Is this normal? Some have said that this is normal for Vettes of this era. In my TL, it blows your hair..... not the Vette.... Are there two fans? One perhaps DEAD?

If my 88 coupe is spinning 2000 RPM at 110-115 kph, (Km, cuz I am in Canada), what rear end gear am I running? RPO code shows a 3:55....I dunno...revs a little high...

Well, I ordered the Quiet Flow mufflers for $199 USD from Mid-America and had them installed in place of the FlowMaster mufflers. Noise is cut in half, slight resonance which is now livable, but I lost some bottom end power. Not a huge deal though.... So now, it's time to gain back some bottom...

I have an 88 Vette with the L98 motor. Which spark plugs are best suited for this engine? I am assuming that the L98 has Aluminum heads.... Didn't all L98's in Vettes have Aluminum heads? I am an Ex-Ford 5.0L man... I new the Ford 5.0 inside out. Now I have to get used to the Chevy end of...

Extending just the 4 tips 3 inchs past the rear bumper? Hmm..... That's a cheaper way to test rather than new mufflers that will no doubt starve the engine.............

Where exactly would this cross over pipe go? Are there any pics you and direct me to? I am interested in this method, rather than changing mufflers! Thanks a million DSSKing

I just purchased an 88 Coupe here in Toronto. Car is completely stock, with the exception of Flowmaster mufflers. The resonance it produces is so loud that I cannot hear the radio, which will eventually be replaced once I can actually hear it. So, Mid-America sells a factory replacement kit...
