We were talking trucks when the warranty for the '06 came up so maybe it only applies to them.
I'm surprised steering wheel radio control doesn't come on the '06. I've got them on my Avalanche and wouldn't do without them. And from what you say, with it being late in the model year and the...
I haven't been on this board in quite a while since I last sold my CE LT-4. I'm now looking at a new C6.
Is there ANY difference between an '06 and '07? I can see resale being a big difference (I only keep my cars 2-3 yrs).
Does the 100k warranty apply to '06's? I read something from a...
I'm Interested
I'm looking at one locally - Dallas, TX ('06)
Yellow Convertible
Black Interior
3LT
6 speed manual
Selective Ride Control
Power Top
I'd also be interested in Museum Delivery.
Please advise through profile address.
I put this in the "For Sale" section but thought I'd throw this up here also. I got rid of my CE and kept the painted top. It is in perfect condition and has always been stored inside its bag inside the house. It has probably only been used a handful of times. If you are needing a top for...
I've got a shimmy, shimmy, shaken going on in the front end of my 1996. Most pronounced when the car sits for a while and will subside (but not go away completely) after a good warmup. I've had the wheels balanced and the tires have about 70% tread left. It doesn't appear to have the least...
Well.......
In summary then it looks like the examples in Ken's post would/is better fitted for the smaller diameter hoses and I'm better off sticking with the standard rubber hose program for my radiator ones. At least that's what I'm taking from these posts. Thanks in advance for the input...
Hmmm...
I want the finished hose and all. Not interested in recovering them just for looks but I'm thinking it is time to do a complete cooling service. Drain, flush, fill, and new hoses. So why not consider the braided ones?
Vroom, Vroom
Took it out to clean her the other day and stretch her legs. First time I've had her out in 6 weeks. Doesn't make sense to sit in the garage. February and bass season will be her before I know it and that is my real passion.
This is what I want....................
This is...
'96 LT4 Collectors Edition Coupe - $15,900
You know the specs. What else - Black interior, both tops, all original (except K&N), excellent shape (always garaged and run in rain once since I've had it the last 20 months), 80% tread, new clutch, 86k miles. $15,900 and if you'd like to negotiate...
Perfect
That picture was a big help - Before I posted the thread, I was indeed prying the other way. A quick trip down to Wally World has the locks popping like new. I wish all fixes were this easy - all is well in LT4 land.............
I've got the key fob for my '96 and it just stopped working (or transmitting). I suspect there is a battery inside that called it quits? And it looks like you can pry it open? Not going there yet until I hear from ya'll. I'd hope that you can get these batteries anywhere but my experience is...
In Agreement
I agree with the concept of finding something that has been driven. I have an LT4 CE with 85k miles on it. In comparison, that may seem high to other 96's. However, I do not have one single issue with this car. No leaks, drips or spills. One that has been driven a little more...
Hmmmm
Wow - One of 1500 of those sits in my garage. Maybe I should hang onto mine. All original, no drips or spills, fresh clutch, and still seems to turn heads. Reduce that number by about 300 for bad luck and/or poor decisions and maybe these things really are "collector editions"
