Here are a couple of pictures of a 53 Retro. It was a 50th with the body replaced by a 53-type body. It was AE red with shale interior. At Vettes on the Rockies. About $40K for the modification.

Now that is nice. I'm a C3 kinda guy and wouldn't spend the money it cost to buy a C5, but that I would. Maybe GM could learn from Ford and there baby bird.
That is the best looking C5 I've ever seen.:_rock :_rock

Boy do I wish Corvette would follow that trend of going Retro with designs for a few years.

But, its been their track history to be cutting edge and futuristic with each series of vettes.
Just the opposite.

Great pics

(not holding my breath) :)

This Corvette really grows on you.

Wish Chevy had taken a tip from Ford and the retro T-Bird and had done something like this for the 50th AE.

here it is in white: it was actually a proposed 50th car by GM...once again they fail to make something good looking.

:confused

Try those pictures again.

How did the drivers license test go for you?

Remember, Fords retro Bird was a flop and has been discontinued. Perhaps it is because it was overpriced and underpowered.

I agree. :cry

I like the Ruby Red color better than the white, but white would have been the correct color.
