03 service questions

took my recently purchased 03 to Koons Chevrolet in Tysons Corner this morning for normal oil/filter change and to ask if they would look at my brakes which screech as I approach just about every stop sign and light as well as a low groan coming from the front wheels wells periodically when I make slow moving turns. Koons just called to say that Chevy is aware of the groaning noise but has not determined what it is and obviously what to fix ... also, they indicate that the brakes are high performance brakes and that the screeching is normal. Has anyone else come across these problems? and what if anything were you able to do about it?

screeching brakes & dealer service issues

thought so, thanks for the feeback ... its what i was afraid of when i bought the car, that service at the dealership would be problematic ... any thoughts with what's causing them to screech? anybody have a good dealer service recommendation in northern va? given warranty consideration, i'm kinda locked into using a dealer.

also, anyone have a recommendation re: contacting gm to research the low groaning sound i get from time to time coming from the wheel well area when making slow turns?
