After reading numerous posts re: suspension, I reviewed my spec sheet I got with my car and notice on the option section it shows "performance handling package [ sport suspension with stiffer springs larger stabilizer bars}. I have not seen this option listed anywhere previous. Can anyone enlighted me on this, ie do most cars have this. There was a charge shown against it for $550 Canadian. I know it is not the Z51 option but what does this mean. Thanks

That is the way they describe the Z51 package, The package is actually two parts, the beefed up suspension (code FE3 I believe) and a power steering cooler.

NO kidding? my invoice does show the pwr steering cooler as well but I thought the Z51 package was more extensive and this was only $550 canadian extra.

Thanks for that. Is there another way of verifying that that suspension is in fact on my car? Nowhere in my documentation is there any mention of a FE3 code. Is it much different in handling then C5s without it? Want to make sure I got what I paid for . Many thanks

Found the answer to my questions in the archives, I do have the FE3 (on sticker in glove compartment) . I just thought the Z51 package would have been more expensive then shown on my invoice. Thanks for the help
